"We are regular customers at BJ’s in Teterboro, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had. We were a group of four and approached the host stand. The host (Bianca) did not make eye contact and told us “don’t sit at any place” while looking down. When we said “excuse me, we need a table for four,” she responded with visible irritation, told us to wait, and walked away. A second host (Brianna) eventually seated us. When I asked if something was wrong, she said the other host was “a little busy.” Being busy doesn’t justify being dismissive or disrespectful to customers. Service issues continued at the table. Our appetizers were brought out without plates. When we asked for plates, we were told, “I have to check if we have plates,” which honestly left us shocked. After a brief pause, she said she could bring them. The food quality was also disappointing. The Avocado Egg Rolls were clearly burnt, and the avocado tasted stale (see attached photos). The fries were dry, hard, and clearly not fresh. Additionally, we ordered extra ice cream on the side with our Pizookie. The charge appeared on the bill, but the item itself was never brought out. At that point, we asked to speak to the manager. The manager apologized and removed the incorrect items from the bill, which we appreciated. However, when we mentioned the attitude, she commented that sometimes near closing time “the waitresses become attitudey.” We were honestly surprised to hear a manager acknowledge this as if it’s a known issue rather than something to correct. We’ve dined here many times without issues, which made this experience even more disappointing. While the bill adjustments were handled properly, the overall service, food quality, and lack of professionalism were not what we expect from a place we regularly visit. We hope management addresses these recurring service issues so other guests don’t have the same experience. The service alone would have deserved zero stars. That’s how disappointing and unprofessional the interaction felt."

"Was pretty busy the day Iwent with my group, thankfully we found a reservation slot for 1.5 hours later, which was really good considering it was Valentine’s Day. Food came out pretty fast considering how packed it was. The atmosphere was casual. The drinks were ok, nothing special but not bad, I would say the prices are better than some other places I’ve been to. They have so many craft beers/ciders that it’s almost overwhelming which one to choose, the ones we ended up trying were good tho. The food was good, the steak from the combo was a bit overglazed, the ribs were not as tender but still tasty. I would still recommend for a casual sporty place to visit, prices are fair overall, some can be a bit on the pricey side."

"BJ’s Brewhouse (Located in Teterboro Landing Shopping Center) 21 Teterboro Landing Dr. Teterboro, NJ 07608 $13 Pizookie Meal Deal: Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina Salted Caramel Mini Pizookie This $13 two-course meal deal is available Monday through Friday, which thankfully includes any holiday that falls on a weekday. Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina: This sandwich was packed with chunks of chicken and chopped bacon (obviously, based on the name of this menu item) and was served on a crispy Parmesan wrap. The ranch was not smothered onto the sandwich, but was served on the side. I feel this was a better alternative because the dressing absorbs into the sandwich which compromises the texture. The presentation of the sandwich could have been better; it needed to be aligned more symmetrically. Salted Caramel Pizookie: This dessert is a variation from an original chocolate chip cookie Pizookie. Toffee, pretzel bites, and white & dark chocolate chip morsels were mixed into the warm caramel cookie. The confection was topped with a single scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. I enjoyed it down to the last bite and craved more. Upon ordering, I did not realize only miniature pizookies are included with this weekday special, hence the name of the ad, “Pizookie Meal Deal.” I found out after the fact I could have substituted a regular sized Pizookie for a $4 up charge. (Had I known, I would have upgraded in a heartbeat.) The meal was decent for the most part, but the service was outstanding. Bartender Enrique was very attentive. He kept my water glass filled. When I requested a doggie bag, he also brought me a separate cup of ranch sauce for the leftovers. "From the moment we walked in, the experience was fantastic. We were greeted with a warm smile by the hostess, who kindly escorted us to our table. Soon after, we met our server Eric, who was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the meal. We ordered several plates (some of which we’ve shared in the photos), and everything was delicious: juicy burgers, tender roast beef, flavorful dips, and more. The variety of beers here is incredible—truly a paradise for beer lovers. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I went with a Heineken Zero, which was a nice alternative. Great service, excellent food, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend BJ’s if you’re looking for a fun place to enjoy great bites and a wide beer selection."
